We offer Goods in Transit insurance coverage with the opportunity to purchase additional coverage if necessary. Additionally, we provide full public liability insurance and all of our vehicles are insured.
It is preferable to determine a relocation date when the contracts are signed, however, we can provisionally arrange a move date for you which will remain valid up to five days before the exchange occurs, or up to one day before if there are no other requests. On the day of completion, it is typical to move. Fridays tend to be very hectic and the same is true for bank holiday weekends, so ensure you have plenty of time to look for quotes and pick a removal service. Mid-week moving offers more freedom. Reach out to us to check our availability.
Unfortunately, our insurance policy does not provide coverage for the travel expenses of individuals who are not employed by the company.
In places where parking permits are mandatory, please contact the local government site or the parking permit provider to arrange for a suspension. In areas where permits are not necessary, we can provide road cones at no expense to reserve a spot for our vehicles. To get more information about the parking regulations in your area, please click the link provided. If you need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
If the appliance has a plug, we can manage it. But for all those appliances that are wired directly to the mains, like stoves, you will need a certified electrician to take it off.
We can tentatively schedule your move without a payment in advance, but if you want to make a firm booking, then a deposit is necessary. If we have only tentatively scheduled your move, we won’t give away the day without giving you the option to pay the deposit. This is dependent on you responding to our inquiries quickly. If we don’t receive a response within 3 days, we reserve the right to book other jobs.
